The Scientific Mind of an 11 Year Old Boy: Me

For one thing...
Ok, for one thing, I'm not that new to the whole 'blogging' process. I
mean, I've done it before, but it wasn't very successful. So now I'm
giving it another shot. A lot of things go through my head, but I never
have anyone to tell them to. (plus I need some extra cash). And so,
without further ado, I hope you enjoy... the scientific mind of an 11
year old boy: me!
My first post (and how it all started)...
Before I begin let me just say I am really nervous right now, I feel like this is going to get now where; so if you could spread the word it would mean a lot to me. [FLASHBACK: IT'S THE YEAR 2010 (2ND GRADE)] The kids around me bang blocks together, play with plastic dinosaurs, and imitate rapid gunfire in a mass of drenching saliva. I tried to ignite any spark of curiosity that flickered through my mind, anything to get away from the world of ignorance I was so mindlessly placed in.
Yet still, there sat I rummaging through the science section in the class library, hoping for something; anything really that could catch my interest for the slightest moment. And that, was when I saw it. It was a hard cover book 30 maybe 40 pages, age browned the pages; the ink even smudged from one page to the other. Its title stated: The Golden Book of Biology, it was like the book was made for me (even though it was a college reference textbook). I brought it home and read it like it would answer all my question about life, and it did!(though from the answers more questions grew).
But then... I finished the book, and what I had waited for for so long hence was found, I wanted to learn more. As I searched I found nothing of my interest, I think you can imagine that an elementary school library does not contain anything on transgenesis and isolating the chromosomes of a presently living organism. Yet still, my hunger for knowledge grew.
(please leave comments about if I did anything wrong or incorrectly, Thank You)
